Our network welcomes
any organisations, agencies, and interested community members
that provide services to vulnerable adults on the North Shore
and share the goals and principles of the network. Our
network is hosted by a collaborative consisting of North Shore
Disability Resource Centre, Canadian Mental Health Association
- North & West Vancouver Branch, North Vancouver Restorative
Justice Society and Lionsview Seniors Planning. For

legislated to respond to adult abuse and neglect under the
Adult Guardianship Act on the North Shore are:
- Vancouver Coastal Health (North Shore Health Service
Delivery Area), Adult Abuse and Neglect Response Program,

Criminal reports
of abuse and neglect are made directly to the local police
agencies. Both police agencies on the North Shore have a liaison
and protocol for dealing with reports made under the Adult
Guardianship Act.
